Who Qualifies
Farmers and ranchers operating anywhere in the United States or its territories.
Both new and established producers are eligible.
Must demonstrate experience or training, a business plan, and the ability to repay.
Beginning, minority, and veteran producers may qualify for additional benefits or targeted funding.

Guaranteed Farm Operating Loan: Bank-issued loans backed by USDA
Up to $2,236,000 (2025 limit)
Farm Ownership Loan: Buy or expand land, buildings, or infrastructure
Up to $600,000
Microloan: Streamlined loan for smaller operations or startups
Up to $50,000
