A Hydraulic Feedlot Chute Built for Relentless Volume. Engineered to Protect Your Operation
The General Feedlot Hydraulic Cattle Chute is the heavy-duty standard for yards that never stop. As cattle get heavier, you need a chute that can take the hit. The General is built with a reinforced frame and wide squeeze opening specifically engineered to handle the 24/7 impact of 1,800 lb. animals. This is a tool built to keep your head-per-minute high and your crew safe.
Protect your highest-ROI input: implants. The Army Series Hydraulic Neck Extenders gives you 16.8 inches of neck access for quick injections and consistent reimplant rates. When your crew has better control and access, they can process cattle with the precision needed to increase your profit per head.
Every second of hesitation costs you money. With 3E technology, The General uses animal science to improve visibility and draw cattle into the chute. This flow allows your crew to process cattle up to 30% faster than other hydraulic systems.
Downtime takes away from your margin. The General is fully rebuildable with bolt-on wear parts so your crew can handle repairs on-site in minutes instead of hours.
Validated by over 1 million battering ram cycles, this chute is built to thrive in the most demanding schedules in the industry.

Eliminate Friction that Frustrates Your Crew & Cattle
Fighting with equipment all day kills productivity. With the re-engineered Army Series, you get a quieter chute that replaces the traditional clatter of a processing barn. By removing the "clank and rattle" of legacy chutes, you create a professional environment that keeps cattle moving and allows your team to focus on the work instead of the machine.
Every second your crew spends fumbling with heavy or poorly positioned doors is a second of lost margin. These doors allow you to only have to expose the square inches you need, keeping the animal calm and secure while giving the operator a direct path.
Seven drop-down doors on each side of chute for easier treatments

Lower-body work shouldn't require slowing down. The latch is up in a more ergonomic spot, which also removes a potential foot cut point.
Split doors swing out and slam shut quietly

A collapsed or tripped animal in a chute is a safety hazard that can keep your crew stuck. The ability to open either side of the chute instantly is your safety valve, turning a potential loss into a quick recovery that keeps the flow on track.

Being able to quickly apply pour on is important to keeping the flow going. By taking the fork targets off the chute, you have wide-open access above the drop-down doors. This allows your crew to apply a quick, accurate spray without having to reach around structural bars, ensuring every animal is treated correctly without breaking the cadence of the line.

For quick shoulder access that also protects cattle as they are running through the chute. Our dedicated shoulder access is engineered for high-speed branding and precise injections.
Top 13.5" of the shoulder area can be quickly removed and put back on.

The General’s XL Vet Cage gives your crew an extra drop-down door on both sides for even greater access to the animal. Turns your chute into a multi-purpose diagnostic station.
Vet door swings fully out of the way to allow for seamless preg-checking or semen testing, keeping your throughput consistent regardless of the task.

Built to Be Rebuilt & Handle More
In a stationary feedlot, equipment failure usually means the line stops until welding is finished. We redesigned The General to speed up maintenance. By using modular, bolt-on components and self-lubricating wear points, maintenance can be a quick fix and a scheduled activity, not an emergency that costs your daily head-per-minute average.

Comfortable Controls Where You Need Them
Adjustable Swing Arm Controls
Your line cannot afford a tired crew when you need to keep a consistent pace until the job is done. By adjusting the swing arm control plate to the height of the operator, you eliminate the physical strain that can slow the line down.
With a 180-degree pivot and a height range of 37.9 to 49.9 inches, the control plate adapts to your crew’s workflow

THE GENERAL FEEDLOT HYDRAULIC CATTLE CHUTE REVIEWS
OVERVIEW
We ran about 400 heifers through to preg check, and have run about 1900 head of 600 lb calves for tagging and dehorning. I’ve been running a Silencer, so it’s been a very biased run as I love my Silencer. I absolutely love that The General is lighter and about 8-10k cheaper. Much easier for us to move through the hills, as we have many locations where we use our chute. The neck extenders work much better than Silencer, hands down! The squeeze is better, AND it doesn’t freeze down like my Silencer does. The lifting cylinders are better. We can hook and unhook this chute twice as fast! Plus, you can use them without finding hydraulic power, as it’s already on board with the battery power. I love that much more than I thought I would. I highly recommend this chute! I definitely prefer it over the Silencer on calves.
