The Cattle Head Holder is made up of two pieces - a bottom bar with a head scoop and top bar to secure the head and prevent thrashing. The two pieces move in a synchronized, scissor-style motion to clamp around the animal's head securely and provide the handler with up-close access to the animal's head without placing unnecessary stress on the animal.
Engineered for safety and control, the 4th Gen Head Holder keeps cattle calm and handlers protected during every procedure.

Patented Single Lever Operation
The 4th Generation Head Holder is operated with a single, user-friendly handle that allows you to secure the cow's head in place with a smooth motion. The dual friction lock automatically engages without the need for a secondary lock or latch, providing secure cattle head control in any position.
Calms Cattle Down Immediately
The moment the Head Holder is secured around their neck, even the most riled-up cattle will calm down to be worked safely. The scoop provides cattle with a place to rest their head comfortably while procedures are completed, and the top bar ensures they cannot throw their head around and injure the handlers who are working them.
Improved Cattle Head Holder Design
The latest model of the Head Holder features an improved head scoop, which measures at 11.25” from one rectangular tube ramp to the other to accommodate cattle with larger necks. With a heavy-duty frame, you can control even the largest bulls and prevent thrashing to keep both you and your livestock safe when handling.
Adjustable Height
The 4th Gen Cattle Head Holder is designed specifically for use on Arrowquip cattle chutes, including the Arrowlock 88, 75, and 55 Series and Powerlock 108 and 105 Series. The clamp-style hold allows you to adjust the height of the Head Holder at any point along the Head Gate to work for any height of cattle.
