The General is the culmination of 17 years of research, design, testing, and continuous improvement by the Arrowquip Innovations Team, resulting in the most reliable heavy-duty hydraulic chute the industry has ever seen. This chute is ready to take the big numbers of livestock seen in feedlots, and offers the access that cattle farmers need to complete their management tasks day in, and day out.
For your largest livestock, The General opens to a full 31.5" from top to bottom, and has a unique 3-way squeeze design that has never been seen before in the industry. The pivoting swing arm allows you to control the live floor and top-mounted squeeze to move between Parallel, V-Squeeze, or A-Squeeze as needed when processing your cattle from either side of the chute.

Neck Extenders
There's no need to worry about safety hazards with the Neck Extenders. With a unique design that lies completely flat against the head gate when not in use, catching cattle is easier than ever. Without interfering with the head catch, the Extenders gently elongate and stretch the animal's neck to keep them stationary, giving you complete control to tag and treat livestock at a new level of efficiency. The Extenders are made for versatility and accommodate livestock of any size.

Sternum Bar
The Sternum Bar is a must-have addition to any cattle chute. When installed, the Sternum Bar supports the sternum and eliminates space at the bottom of the chute, preventing cattle from laying down and making processing faster and safer than ever. The Sternum Bar is quick and easy to install with two bolts and comes sheeted to eliminate hoof traps.

Calf Restrainer Bar
Safely restrain calves or gain added control of lively cattle with the Calf Restrainer Bar. Easy to use and simple to install, the Bar is attached to the inside of the cattle chute and mounted on the squeeze. The Bar tucks into the hip joint, immobilizing the hip and securely containing the smallest calf to the biggest bull. As an added safety measure when accessing livestock through the side access doors, operators can add a second Calf Restrainer Bar to the opposite side of the chute to brand, trim and band livestock with ease.
