Key Responsibilities

With direction from the Content Manager, the Content Coordinator is accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Develop the knowledge to be an expert in the content marketing field, growing demand and brand recognition through content efforts.
  • Maintain and schedule a monthly content calendar for all social channels with content that aligns with current industry trends/topics.
  • Stay up-to-date on news and latest trends in the content realm.
  • Ensure that all comments/DMs across our social platforms are replied to in a timely manner.
  • Develop content that informs and supports our vision of being the authority in the livestock industry.
  • Keep all product related materials up-to-date, fully understanding the contribution to the overall marketing efforts and ensuring its success.
  • Accountable for the performance of all marketing-related outbound emails.
  • Plan, develop, and execute monthly social marketing efforts, including:
    • Internal Blogs
    • Advertorials
    • Whitepapers
    • Monthly Newsletters & email campaigns
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to optimize content.
  • Develop campaigns that reconvert current TAM.
  • Monitor and report on all competitor content.
  • Adhere to style/tone/messaging documents the correspond with the brand guidelines.

The Requirements:

  • Marketing experience or a diploma in a related field
  • Ability to understand consumer behavior habits.
  • A passion for content marketing.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing content platforms.
  • Understanding consumer habits is an asset.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and their specific requirements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to challenge and provide combative perspectives on contrasting opinions.
  • Travel requirements to the United States and a valid passport.

This is an in-person role that will require a commute to Woodlands, Manitoba. We are seeking a driven, goal-oriented person who will help diversify our marketing team and bring unique traits that will elevate our abilities to grow as individuals and as a team.
